Try and update all network adapter drivers to the latest versions. There will often be more than one network adapter listed in the device manager.
Locate and install the most current drivers for your network adapters by going to the adapter manufacturer's web site. In many cases they are built into the computer's motherboard, but sometimes are installed as optional PCI or PCIe cards in the computer's chassis.
